"This is one of the stops on the 2011 Artisan Award Blog Hop. We can't wait to share a closer look at our projects with you. There are ten stops along the way and it makes a complete circle. So when you end up back here, then you know you have visited everyone. You should have just come from Jennifer Picard's blog. She has an amazing creative eye!!!. Here's my project for today...
This is the first card I created after my Friend Jan challenged me to enter the Artisan contest. The sentiment "Remember When" seems all too fitting for this card. I designed it almost a full year ago! I am not a very successful last minute crafter, so I started early allowing plenty of time to play with my projects and not have to put my other job (as a mom) on hold.
The focus of the card is butterfly. This is cut out with the big shot allowing me to cut all four of the layers at once.... I don't think I could stress the fact enough that the big shot is a crafters dream!!!
Yay Heather so glad to see you posting! You are crazy talented and I am honoured to be an "artisan" with you. This card is fantastic:)

This card is amazing. This might sound a bit weird but I think it looks like it belongs in a museum. Fabulous work.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award Heather. Cute butterflies.

ReplyDeleteSuch a Beauty! I saw this on the boards and am so glad to see it up close! Love the sugared edges of the wings! :)
